Post-merger workflow integration

Connect the first workflow across the combined estate.

Carry the right identity, history and permissions into the receiving system. Implement one working path for your team, with a governed foundation for the next AI workflow.

When the transition gets stuck

  • 01An operating transition is announced, but the receiving team still crosses systems to finish one customer task.
  • 02The same identifier can occur in two source businesses, and historical records need explicit scope.
  • 03The receiving consumer needs accepted data, permitted actions and an owner for uncertain or failed handoffs.

One cohort. One receiving workflow. An accepted path.

Connect or migrate one agreed cohort to its first receiving consumer, preserving the identity, required history and ownership that the workflow depends on.

  • The receiving team can complete the agreed task for the selected cohort.
  • Source identity and historical context remain traceable across coexistence and cutover.
  • Access, exceptions and recovery have named acceptance and operating owners.

How Jextra implements the wave

01

Name the cohort and receiving task.

Bring source, receiving, data, security and operating owners into the same first-wave boundary.

02

Preserve meaning across the transition.

Implement scoped identity, required history, declared mappings and the API or event path the consumer needs.

03

Test the complete path.

Reconcile records and relationships, then exercise the receiving task, denied access, failures and recovery.

04

Release and assign operating ownership.

Move the agreed cohort and consumer, retain the coexistence boundary and hand over monitoring and exceptions. Enable an AI task only within its accepted context and authority.

Try the relevant checks.

The insurance-style reference detects a missing historical policy period, two changed cells and one invalid insurer-scoped policyholder relationship. The four investigation groups include overlapping checks.

01

See the declared failure.

Inspect the keys, mappings and supplied captures, then reproduce the findings locally.

02

Run corrected and shared-defect controls.

Compare the repaired supplied scope and a relationship defect that remains even when mapped rows agree.

03

Write the first-wave brief.

Use the worksheet to identify the actual consumer, owners, acceptance and decisions still open.

Synthetic reference. Corrected controls do not establish customer source completeness, live consumer behavior or release approval.

Relevant engineering experience

Application migration and infrastructure contributions.

Relevant team experience includes application migration and published data-access and observability contributions. The acquired-policy example is synthetic; it is not a completed merger engagement or installed-core certification.

The downloadable reference is separate from previous engagement and contributor experience.

Your next step

Merger Workflow Integration Kit

Run a useful local reference and keep the brief for your own team. Requesting implementation help is a separate choice.

  • Failing, repaired and shared-defect policy-history controls
  • Scoped identity, history and relationship checks
  • A receiving-workflow and cohort worksheet
  • Acceptance questions and a prompt for your agent

Questions

Do we have to replace the whole core?

The first wave follows the agreed capability and coexistence boundary. The selected architecture depends on the installed interfaces and remaining consumers.

Can this enable an AI workflow?

The accepted source and API foundation can support an employee or agent workflow. Its data scope, permitted actions and defenses must be implemented and accepted for that task.

What does the free kit do?

It computes checks on declared synthetic captures locally and exports findings. The brief helps define the actual work. It does not connect installed cores, migrate a customer book or certify a vendor platform.

How are time and price agreed?

Confirm interfaces, access, cases and operating dependencies, then agree deliverables, acceptance, milestones and commercial scope. Unknown access or semantics may need an explicitly scoped inspection first.
